James Taylor is the Man of the Match for his knock of 101, his first ODI ton.
James Taylor: "From your own personal point of view, it is always a brilliant feeling to reach the three-figure mark. The boys though put on a very good show, considering we were under the pump. Morgan played an exceptional knock and that allowed me to settle in."
Eoin Morgan: "Very impressed with the team. We improved in the areas we needed to do well in. Jason Roy did what he does really well, giving us an explosive start. I have known Finn for 15 years and I have never seen him take a catch like that (talking about Finn's exceptional one-handed stunner to send Steven Smith back)."
Steven Smith: "First of all, they got a few too many. We didn't take our opportunities on the field. We pulled it a bit towards the end, but we didn't bat well enough to win this game."
Match end : England win by 93 runs
A complete bowling performance helped England gain their first win the series. Australia are still leading 2-1 with two matches to go but at least this victory offers England a chance to bounce back and stake a claim.
The last-wicket pair of Matthew Wade and James Pattinson resisted with a 35-run stand but Finn dismissed Wade on 42 and the match got over with six overs to spare.
Wicket : Regular strikes leave Australia stranded
England made sure they kept on picking wickets at regular intervals and denied Australia the chance to get back in the game. Moeen Ali finished with his career best figures in ODIs - 10-1-32-3.
Australia slipped from 154/6 to 172/9 in a matter of 6 overs.
Wicket : Moeen double
Moeen Ali dismissed Maxwell and Bailey in successive overs and pegged back Australia. First to go was Maxwell, who went for the reverse sweep, did not get it right as the ball looped up off the top edge and Bairstow took a simple catch.
Bailey, who went for the big hit, ended up hitting it straight down the throat of Stokes at deep mid-wicket.
Milestone, Wicket : Finch departs after fifty
Aaron Finch registered his 8th ODI fifty but was out soon after giving Adil Rashid his 7th wicket of the series. Finch who had started his innings briskly slowed down after the fall of Smith and was batting cautiously. But he went in pursuit of quick runs, heaved with his might but ended up playing into the hands of Woakes, who ran in from long-on.
